Linda Taalman and Alan Koch have a well-deserved reputation for innovative architecture. Their firm Taalman Koch Architecture created the aluminum-framed itHouse system that has won numerous awards for its precision elements and sleek glass house design.
Taalman Koch Architecture are expanding the vocabulary of the itHouse system by hybridizing its components with the Blue Sky Frame™ , as the platform and structural system for projects that have raised floors. Several new itHouse projects are being built using the Blue Sky Frame to create a sturdy base or platform for their homes on lots where creating a flat pad is undesirable or not possible. Our point-loaded, bi-directional, moment-resisting frame requires minimal footings and can eliminate the need for any earthmoving.
