o2 Architecture is known for its inspired modernist designs, both for new projects and loving “refreshments” of mid-century homes and small hotels. Lance O’Donnell is the principal at this award-winning Palm Springs, California firm. Lance has worked closely with noted Palm Springs architect Donald Wexler, who is credited with some of the most noted early experiments with the use of steel in residential projects.Lance, along with Martin Brunner and Stephen Gardner from o2, have designed many unique structures leveraging our building systems, and have are working with a number of customers on custom designs.

Notes: Floats over very rugged terrain with almost no damaging site work required. Two bedrooms, one bath in about 1,125 square feet. Includes our moment frame and our wall system.

Rock Reach House
Location: Rock Reach / Yucca Valley, California.
Status: Completed April 2009

Notes: This is our first house. Just 1,000 square feet with two bedrooms, one bath. Floats over seasonal stream. Completed in eight weeks. Published in Dwell magazine – and elsewhere. Available as a vacation rental. Includes our moment frame and our wall system.
